We partnered with Conduit to design Extend, a platform bridging wholesalers and retailers, and to rethink their entire inventory and order management system.

What we did

UX Mapping

We collaborated closely with Extend’s product and operations teams to document every step, from SKU assignment to final invoice, identifying pain points and streamlining handoffs.

Modular Dashboard Architecture

We designed a unified dashboard with clear sections, each accessible via a persistent sidebar that maintains context as users move between tasks.

Challenge

Fragmented Workflows

Inventory allocation, price negotiation, and invoicing all lived in separate tools, causing errors and delays.

Steep Learning Curve

Overly Technical UX

Complex B2B processes (tiered pricing, retainer packages, volume discounts) weren’t reflected in the UI, requiring heavy training.

Lack of Visibility

Suppliers couldn’t quickly see which retailers had requested orders, needed invoice reminders, or qualified for preferential tiers.

Inconsistent UX

Multiple legacy modules had different interaction patterns and styling, undermining trust and slowing adoption.
